Cardno Emerging Markets (UK) Limited encompasses Cardno Agrisystems, established in 1979 and the former Emerging Markets Group Ltd (UK Office).  These companies specialize in the supply of technical assistance and consultancy services in the disciplines of food security and rural development, post-conflict management and transitional governance, value chain development and international trade facilitation as well as financial and private sector development. These services are now provided out of a single registered business in the UK.

Our sister company Cardno Emerging Markets (East Africa) Ltd (previously Cardno Agrisystems Africa Limited), with registered office in Nairobi, specialises in the supply of specialist agricultural support services, including sector development studies, agricultural education and training, natural resource management, livestock and animal resource development.

We work in partnership with donor agencies, governments, civil societies and the private sector to assist with the design and implementation of locally-owned and delivered development strategies; and with communities to improve the management of their natural resources and to develop their enterprises, institutions and infrastructure.  We help with project design, undertake studies and provide specialist technical assistance and project management services.
