Consultant Charter
In our dealings with our consultants, we will both seek and offer the following basis for a commercial relationship:
To Consultants:
- Payment in line with agreed terms and conditions of engagement, at realistic market rates, supported by a transparent and fair disbursements policy.
- Project management and direction, in line with agreed terms of reference.
- Pro-active marketing of consultant skills and experience, to a global market without charge or obligations, whilst being responsive to individual consultant's needs.
- Training in specialist areas relating to defined developments and initiatives undertaken by the Company and logistical / technical and professional support.
- Legally binding and equable contracts, supported by full professional and personal insurance when on contract.
From Consultants:
- Diplomacy, integrity, confidentiality in all dealings with clients and third parties, objectivity and effective team performance.
- Recognition of the continuing relationship between the company and the client and the imperative of this relationship.
- Technical and professional excellence; innovation and credibility in all dealings with and submissions to clients in line with agreed deadlines.
- Continuing communication and feedback in regard to the conduct of projects, both through local field staff and Head Office.
Consultant Obligations:
In exchange for the foregoing, we expect our consultants to contribute to corporate development by demonstrating the following characteristics which we believe help reinforce our position and culture:
- Loyalty, honesty, integrity, commitment, technical excellence, flexibility, reliability, creativity, motivation, contribution towards the personal development of other team members, high levels of productivity and mutual respect and trust.
- We also expect and hope that consultants will be committed to career and personal development and will enjoy their association with our Company.
